We all know the benefits of wearing sunscreen daily. But when it comes to slathering it on your kisser, things can get a bit tricky…actually…a bit icky!
For some reason, it always seems like I can feel (and smell) traditional sunscreen sitting on my face. It doesn’t make for a great primer when you’re trying to put on makeup. And let’s “face” it…your skin never really feels satin-smooth once you’ve smoothed it on. By the end of the day, I’m just itching to wash it off.

The beauty of Triple Defense is that it comes in a unique tube with a “paintbrush” at the end. Simply “click” the tube open, squeeze to get the sunscreen flowing, then go to town on your punim.

It almost seems like this sunscreen melts into your skin, providing instant hydration. It's practically undetectable once you've applied it, and the smell is anything but typical: a bit perfume-y, but not at all to the point of overkill. I honestly feel as though it made my skin feel softer, and it worked like a charm under my makeup. My face seemed to glow!
As for the fine lines and wrinkles claim, I can’t be 100% sure that it made a difference for me (I’m just starting to ramp up my anti-aging regimen), but it definitely made my skin look and feel healthier.
Just one thing: While the built-in-brush makes for an even application, be mindful of holding it upright and clicking it shut when you're done. As I was putting it down on the counter, it flipped upside down and sunscreen splattered on my floor. I was just sad because I don’t want to waste a drop of it!
Elizabeth Arden Prevage Triple Defense Shield SPF 50 PA +++ is utter luxury. At $79, it’s not exactly a bargain, but it’s worth every beautiful penny. This has quickly become one of my summer staples!
