SELF Magazine is out with its annual Healthy Beauty Awards. More than one thousand readers from across the country tested 1,241 new products released within the past year. They rated them on things like texture, color and ease of use. The result? A get gorgeous guide packed with 88 winners, ranging from inexpensive drugstore steals to boutique beauty buys. Beauty Editor Elaine D’Farley gives GALtime the scoop on some of this year’s latest and greatest.

"The mask contains pomegranate, which is a fruit acid, which will help to dissolve debris and clear your pores and make your skin look brighter," said D'Farley.
Best Antiaging System: Neutrogena Clinical Facial Lifting Wrinkle Treatment SPF 30, $40
"It’s a starter system and people loved it because it included everything from an eye fix to an SPF. The kit has ingredients like copper and minerals to help ward against aging," said D'Farley.

“I liked that the product dried very smooth and wasn’t cakey. It just looked very natural and dewy. And I liked that the color wasn’t too extreme,” said Healthy Beauty Awards tester Katherine Bellando.

"This is a really clever product that has both skincare ingredients in it and pigmentation, so it’s going to hide your circles, but its also going to help your wrinkles," said D'Farley.
