While technology with wire-free bras has come a long way, generally, they are better suited for smaller busted women who don’t need a whole lot of support. A bra works with the laws of gravity – the heavier your breasts are, the more you need the bra and all its parts including the underwire) to hold them up! Really, if you are more than a C-cup, you probably shouldn’t be skipping the underwire but there are bras out there that are offering a good deal of support even without the wires. You can try one like this, by Warner’s or the new CustomFlex Fit by Barely There, and give it the “jump test” in the store (i.e. jump up and down in the dressing room and see if your breasts stay in place). If they’re moving a lot, it’s probably not the best option for you.
