Minutes ago on Twitter, Eva Longoria tweeted the following:
"It is with great sadness that after seven years together Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."
Longoria filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, citing irreconcilable differences.
Rumors had been swirling that the two were splitting. At first their reps denied the rumors, but this morning things heated up when reports of Tony's philandering surfaced. The NBA star reportedly was caught by his wife after sending hundreds of texts to a mutual female friend. Sources say Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal and is "inconsolable" at this time.
