Tampa Weekend Events for May 11th - May 13th
The weekend has arrived ladies! Check out what's happening around town:
John Levique Pirate Days
This three-day festival (Friday till Saturday), at the John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk (Madeira Beach), celebrates the discovery of John's Pass with a variety of events including a Pirate's Ball, sea battle and boat parade, a family treasure hunt, adult and children's costume contests, various themed merchandise, a pub crawl, artisans and craftsmen, food and beverage vendors and an abundance of pirate performers. Hours for the event are: Friday, 3-11 pm, Saturday 10am to 8pm, and Sunday 10am to 6pm. For more information about this three day festival, click here.
Tropical Heatwave
This Saturday, starting at 4pm, is Tampa Bay’s largest local live-music showcase. It spreads 73 artists across 13 stages this year, with music going from the Cuban Club all the way to Seventh Avenue, plus concerts at the Bricks and two stages inside the Ritz Ybor.

Mother’s Day at the Zoo
This Sunday for Mother’s Day, daughter's and son's of any age can take their Mother's to the Lowry Park Zoo at no charge with the purchase of any adult or child admission. Yes, Mother’s get in for free! The park opens at 9:30! For more information about the Zoo, click here.
