Kris Humphries is severely against getting a divorce from Kim Kardashian, and has filed for an annulment of their marriage instead.
According to sources, the NBA player wants to "wipe the slate clean by erasing" their union.
In order for the judge to grant an annulment, legal experts say Kris needs to prove with "clear and convincing evidence" that Kim defrauded him into marrying her.
If his request is refused, Kris will ask for legal separation that will extend indefinitely.
