Miley received backlash for pole dancing during performances, and was also videotaped smoking salvia with a group of friends.

"Since Miley's marijuana controversy gave her a bit of bad girl edge, they hope to convince her team that it's time to ditch the wholesome image and try something new,"
Playboy would reportedly offer her $1.3 for the pictorial.
