Will Ferrell announced on Conan last night that a sequel to the 2004 hit Anchorman is definitely in the works.
Decked out head-to-toe in his Ron Burgundy gear, the actor said:
“I want to announce this to all of our friends in the Americas, Spain, Turkey and the U.K. -- including England -- that as of oh-nine-hundred hours Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel for Anchorman. It is official: There will be a sequel to 'Anchorman.'"
According to Deadline.com, Burgandy's "trusty news team" - made up of actors Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner - will all be back for the second installment.
