Katy Perry was apparently booed on American Idol last night after her not-so-live performance.
The audience were said to be "beyond pumped" for Perry to sing her song Part of Me, but things turned sour when they found out it was pre-taped.
E! reports that execs didn't tell fans she wouldn't be hitting the stage in front of them, and instead decided to make it a "surprise".
If you listen closely, you can hear some of their "boos" on the live edition of the show.
