Brad Pitt proposed to Angelina Jolie earlier this year, but the actor admits they have not yet set a date to walk down the aisle.
During a press conference for Killing Them Softly at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, Pitt said:
"We actually, really and truly, have no date. It's just something that makes sense to us, and certainly date-wise, it's just a rumor.We're still hoping that we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date."
The 48-year-old previously proclaimed that he wouldn't tie the knot until all couples had the legal right to do so.
Sidenote: Angelina was not by Pitt's side during the festival. Instead, she's preparing for her new movie Maleficent, which is set to start filming this summer.
