The 19-year-old actress released the following statement:
"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."
Liam popped the question on May 31st in Los Angeles with a 3.5-carat sparkler from jeweler Neil Lane.
The couple has been dating ever since meeting on the set of their 2009 film, The Last Song.
