Carly Rae Jepsen has split from Jordi Ashworth, who was the inspiration behind her hit song “Call Me Maybe”.
Back in May, the songstress gushed about her boyfriend of one year:
"He's an amazing guy. Jordi is studying to become an architect, but right now he's taking some time out to come along and be involved in this adventure with me. It's nice that I don't get lonely. He blushes when he hears the song ("Call Me Maybe"), but I write a song a week, so he has a couple of CDs worth of songs dedicated to him."
According to a source, the two decided to call it quits because of Jepsen’s hectic schedule:
"Carly broke up with Jordi in June because her schedule got crazy."
Earlier this month, the 26-year-old joked she has her romantic eyes set on Ryan Gosling.
Never say never (although he is currently dating actress Eva Mendes)!
