Ashton Kutcher is considering whether or not to star in the new Ghostbusters movie.
Director Ivan Reitman confirmed both Bill Murray and Ashton were handed a script.
In regards to Ashton's decision, Reitman told Digital Spy:
"He's seen it and we're waiting to hear. Fingers crossed."
While talking about the third movie in series, Bill (who originally played Dr. Peter Venkman in the first two installments), told Howard Stern:
"I guess I'm the problem. Before I was an asset, now I'm a problem. There's a script somewhere but I haven't read it yet. I'll get to it, I gotta get to it. I feel bad. It's nor the foremost thing in my mind, so I don't think about it. You know, the studio gets excited every 10 years or so. What they'd really like to do is recreate the franchise."
Hmmm - doesn't seem like Bill is too interested, if you ask us! If this does happen, it would definitely make a popular comeback. Talk about an easy payday....
