Little Boo at the Zoo and Pumpkin Path

This is a great event for preschool aged children that are a bit too young for some of the Halloween events. Trick or treating, a hazy maze, scarecrow making, and pumpkin decorating are just some of the activities to enjoy. Little Boo at the Zoo is from 10am-3pm October 21st at the Toledo Zoo. Click here for more details and tickets. If you miss out on this event or have older children, Pumpkin Path is a larger version of the event on Friday and Saturday.

Free Fit Club

If you’re looking to kick your workout into gear, you’ve got to check out this event. A variety of workouts, including Slim in 6, Power 90, P90x, Rev Abs, TurboFire and Body Gospel. The free workout is offered every Saturday at St. Paul’s Luterhan Church in Maumee from 9:30-10:30am. Check out the Fit Club page for the full address and info about the different workouts.

Dimensions of Darkness

If you’re looking to get scared this Halloween, this is definitely the place for you. In its second year, the haunted attraction has really upped their game. With more realistic sets, a longer tour and more scares packed in, it is the real deal in the Toledo area. At only ten dollars, you wont find a better scare for your money. Open from 7pm-12am Friday and Saturday and 7pm-11pm Sundays. Check out their website for more info, but be warned, it’s not for the faint of heart!

Kids in the Kitchen

This event, brought to you by the Junior League of Toledo, is packed with great information to celebrate healthy food and empower youth to fight the rise of childhood obesity through making healthy choices. Cooking demonstrations and vendors provide healthy treats, information and games. The first 500 kids get a free Panera lunch and healthy lifestyle goodie bags. This is a free event for all children under 12 and their parents so be sure to stop by! The event runs from 10am-2pm on Saturday, October 22nd at the Seagate Centre. Check out their website for more details.
