Dog Friendly Events for Bostonians
Dog Friendly Events for Bostonians

One does not need to walk far in Boston before encountering man's best friend leading their owner on a walk through the metro area. City living can mean cramped quarters, leaving some dog owners looking forward to each chance to take their pooch out for fresh air. While a walk is nice, the same neighborhood route or park can be boring. Spice up summer evenings with a dog-friendly event such as one of the following:

  • Cause to Paws, a specialty dog and cat shop located in the Coolidge Corner area of Brookline will host Yappy Hour on Thursday, June 28, 2012 beginning at 6pm. Cause to Paws offers a collection of unique pet and pet related products in their shop. There will be new toys and treats available at the event.

  • The Seaport Hotel offers Canines & Cocktails for dogs of all sizes each Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm (weather dependent) at the Seaport Hotel's TAMO Terrace, located at One Seaport Lane in Boston. The weekly events are an opportunity to spend quality time with man's best friend and mingle with other dog owners while enjoying a dog-themed cocktail. A special menu featuring homemade dog treats is offered by Seaport’s Executive Chef Richard Rayment, along with plenty of water for dogs. Training and obedience tips will also be available from Boston K9 Concierge.

Where do you go in Boston to enjoy time with your four-legged friend?
