 Roasted Pork Loin with Maple Apple Cider Sauce

Looking for something new and exciting to try out this holiday season? Executive Chef Jan Kelly (in partnership with Sam's Club) created this fantastic recipe for any holiday gathering. Her savory Roasted Pork Loin with fresh herbs and maple apple cider sauce incorporates delicious twists into a family-friendly meal.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4-6

Ingredients:

Pork Roast

· 1 boneless pork loin

· 2 tablespoons each chopped rosemary, thyme and sage

· 1tablesoon orange zest

· 4 cloves garlic chopped

· 1 teaspoon salt and pepper

Apple Cider sauce

· 1 shallot minced

· 2 cups maple syrup

· 1 ½ cups apple cider vinegar

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Mix all the herbs, garlic and orange zest in a bowl with the olive oil and set aside.

3. Take the pork loin and rub it with the salt and pepper and then rub with the herb mixture.

4. Place pork loin in a roasting pan and cook till internal temp is 140 degrees.

5. While pork loin is cooking, make maple cider sauce. Put minced shallots, maple syrup and cider vinegar in a sauce pan and reduce by half or until thickened.

6. When pork loin is done, remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

7. Slice and spoon maple cider sauce over the pork loin.
