My mouth waters just thinking about this amazingly easy chocolate treat. It looks as delicious as it tastes!
1785 INN Chocolate Toffee Bars
Ingredients:
1 sleeve saltine crackers
½ pound unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
12 ounces milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Line a 10x15 jelly roll pan with aluminum foil and then cover the foil with saltine crackers.
In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together and bring to a boil while stirring (approximately 3 minutes).
Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the crackers and bake for 6 minutes at 400 degrees F.
While still hot, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and spread the melted chocolate (if chocolate doesn’t melt put back into oven for a minute or so until it does).
Chill until hardened, peel off the foil and break into pieces (roughly 1½-inch squares).
Yields approximately 60 pieces.
