Menufortheweek.com was born out of a passion for family, cooking and a desire to help others enjoy dinnertime again. Dawn is a working mother of two who knows the stress that comes from walking in the door from a full day and being put on the spot to think of a good meal and quickly prepare it all; all while trying to catch up on her kids and husband's day. To reduce this stress in her life, Dawn plans all of the dinners her family will have each week and creates a grocery list from that menu plan. Dawn was raised in South Louisiana where food is at the culture and meals are a celebration. Dawn has been cooking for as long as she can remember, although it's not her passion for cooking that motivates her. Rather, it's her belief that some of the best bonding with family happens at the dinner table. That being said, she does believe that a home cooked meal comes from the heart. So while a dinner out may be considered 'time together' it can get expensive and you often don't know what hidden or processed ingredients are used. Menufortheweek.com and Dawn take all the guesswork out of what to make for dinner and give you a shopping list for a week's worth of delicious meals.
