Restaurants...they're the danger zone for those of us trying to lose weight, maintain what we got or just eat healthier. But who wants to be tied to the stove 352 days a year? Not me. So I was happy to hear about the Restaurant Nutrition app by the Foundation Healthcare Network. It's available for free in the iTunes store and at androidzoom.com. This application has nutrition info for more 19,000 food items at more than 115 restaurants (and the list keeps on growing). You can search by restaurant name or menu item and find nutritional info including calories, carbohydrates, fat, protein and more. The app will also mark your favorites and let you track what you've eaten.
