You really have to see The Imperial at Washburn Imports to understand the level of amazing this place has achieved. We stumbled upon this place purely by chance as we were strolling around Ivanhoe Village. We peaked in the window and and vowed that we would be back and we are so glad we went back.
Self described as, “A Wine Bar and Beer Garden specializing in boutique wines and craft beers,” the beer selection is fantastic. (It was a beer kind of night, so we didn’t look too closely at the wine list, but if it’s anything like the beer list you won’t be disappointed.) While The Imperial at Washburn Imports takes great pride in the beverages they serve, the wow factor is in the ambiance.

This space is decorated with imported home furnishings and original artwork. You can sit at an imported solid wood coffee table and, if you enjoy it, you can take the table home with you. The character of this place is evident even in their patio with it’s unique furniture and exotic feel. As we explored the venue and admired the furniture we picked out the pieces that we would one day have in our homes. And then we drank to a future filled with custom furniture. (We can dream!)

It was such a unique experience. The service was exceptional. If you haven’t made your way out to this great find, stop waiting; start driving!
