Tips for your Children’s Museum Adventure
1. The Fun might be “Free”: Many museums like KidsQuest in Bellevue, Washington have specific dates and times when admission is free. Take a moment to check out your local museum’s website to get the details.
2. Pack a Snack: With all the learning that the kids will be doing they’ll need some energy. While some children’s museums don’t have a cafeteria to buy food, they often do have a place to sit and eat.
3. Get there Early: If crowd free is your kiddo’s style, it may be worth it to get to the museum early. You’ll probably get a primo parking spot and miss standing in life for half and hour to get in.
4. Dress in Playclothes: Many museums that are tailored to kids are also places where kids can experience things—how water works for example. This is not the day to wear that dress Grandma sent. It’s a day to play and learn… and not fret about dirty duds.
