2011 Ghent Winter Bar Tour Saturday February 26
Read, Set, Crawl!! The Ghent Winter Bar Tour will benefit Edmarc Hospice for Children on Saturday in Norfolk. Participants will pub crawl down Colley Avenue, 21 Street and surrounding neighborhoods starting at 4 p.m.-9pm or whenever the last bar closes.
And to cap it all off, they're throwing the biggest block party yet in the parking lot behind the Belmont House of Smoke featuring 3 live bands, games, prizes, and plenty of free warm drinks provided by Starbucks to keep you toasty long into the night. More than 1000 participants helped make last winter's tour a raging success with a record-breaking $23,750 raised for charity and they expect even more good things this time around.
