It may have been a rainy evening in DC, but that didn't keep the crowds from coming out to Coach's Georgetown shop to see Glenda Bailey, editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar. Bailey, who has led Bazaar since 2001, was in town to sign copies of her new book, Harper's Bazaar Greatest Hits. DC was the last stop on her stylish tour, which was sponsored by Coach and started in NYC in September.
The book celebrates her 10-year anniversary at Bazaar and is packed full with beautiful fashion photography highlighting the magazine's most memorable moments. Bailey, who describes her job as "hosting a can't-miss party where everyone's invited," says in the introduction that some of her favorites include when they photographed "Karl Lagerfeld as a rapper, turned Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana into superheros, and painted Donna Karan gold." Dozens of fans picked up a copy to take home, but not before enjoying champagne, bite-size sweets, and browsing the newest bags from Coach!
