This Memorial Day, there are many opportunities around the state to honor the men and women who fought for our country and afforded us the freedom we cherish.

Monday, May 28th

Bristol:  There will be a parade and ceremonies which begin at North Burial Ground, Hope Street at 9:45 am.

East Greenwich:  The parade begins at 111 Pierce Street at 11am and ends with a ceremony at Town Hall, 125 Main Street.

Exeter: An honorable place to salute the Military men and women who sacrificed their lives for their country- RI Veterans memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail.  Ceremonies will be held at the World War II Memorial Monument off Memorial Drive at 1pm.

North Providence: The parade kicks off at 1pm, from North Providence High School and ends at Governor John A. Notte, Jr. Park  on Douglas Avenue, where there will be an afternoon of festivities from 12pm-6pm.

Pawtucket: The Pawtucket Veterans Council will conduct the city’s Memorial Day rites at several locations. All events include a wreath laying ceremony. The principal ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Exchange Street, starting at 11am.
City officials and members of the public are also invited to earlier events at:
• The Slater Park Shell, starting at 9 a.m.
• The Hiker Memorial, starting at 9:15 a.m.
• The Korean War Monument at Park Place, starting at 9:30 a.m.
• The Mineral Spring Avenue Cemetery, starting at 9:40 a.m.

Woonsocket: This Northern RI parade steps off from the corner of Cumberland Hill Road and Clinton Street at 10am.
