School is back in session and weekends are more valuable than ever. There is nothing better than sleeping in on a Saturday morning and grabbing brunch with some of your best gal pals. My favorite brunch spot is Standard Diner in Downtown Albuquerque. This great place was even featured on the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and has some amazing brunch food that will please everyone. Be sure to try one of their mimosas!

The Monzano Mountain Art Council will be hosting the Sunflower Festival this Saturday. The event will showcase arts and crafts done by people from all over the State of New Mexico. Visit their website at http://MountainairArts.org/sunflower_folk_art_day.html for more information.
One truly unique event that I am looking forward to is the One Million Bones 50,000 Bones Installation in Downtown Albuquerque on Saturday. 200 volunteers will be dressed in all white installing over 50,000 clay bones to raise awareness for the continuous genocides occurring all over the world. The unique event is a preview for the 2013 edition that will be occurring in Washington DC. Check this out for a truly unique experience!
Can't get enough of baseball? The Isotopes are back home this weekend, playing Round Rock Express. Don't miss out of getting your fill of baseball this season!
Happy Weekend Albuquerque Ladies! Take some time to relax!
