How many of you guys have mountains of clothes sitting around at home and have no idea what to do with them? They may be clothes that are now too old, and too shameful to wear out because they no longer meet the standards of what is “trendy” and “fashionable.” Yet, they are still in perfect condition, and such a waste to just toss in the trash. For those of you who have dealt with these familiar scenarios, I have an easy solution!
All it requires is a little fun, creativity, and redecorating! Take a trip to the nearest fabric or crafts store such as Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store, where you can find just the right materials to do so! At these stores, you can purchase a variety of embellishments such as beads, sequins, and studs, as well as diverse styles of fabric that you can use to personally add on to your wardrobe.
Have you ever experienced a moment when you found a shirt that you liked, but it was almost twice as expensive as others simply because of some extra embellishments? Or perhaps a time when you would have proceeded to purchase an item if it weren’t for a minor detail that you absolutely hated? Well, a trip to a fabric or crafts store can also make shopping much easier and cost-efficient! For instance, a recent trend and hot issue all over fashion blogs and magazines is the embellished collar. Some shirts are way overpriced because of the extra embellishments on the collar. Rather than spending large sums of money, be creative and decorate your own collars!
If you do not have any old or extra clothes to spare, pay a visit to a nearby thrift store such as Nearly Nu Shoppe, A Thrift Store With A Twist or many others, where you can purchase items for much less than regular stores. Save your budget by spending less and creating clothes that will shows off your personality!
