The Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays to celebrate—the weather’s great, you get a long weekend, and the holiday brings together great food, family, and friends! Whether you’re celebrating out on the water or at home with a good ol’ fashioned BBQ, you don’t want to miss out on your community’s best celebrations. Just remember to keep things stress free! July 4th is a day of commemorating history and freedom, and should be a celebratory reflection of that. And more importantly, no matter where you’re celebrating, don’t forget your sunscreen along with your mimosas!
Summer Pops at BankRI’s Independence Day Celebration
Join the Rhode Island Philharmonic Pops Orchestra for BankRI’s Independence Day Celebration at India Point Park! Following the concerto performance conducted by Francisco Noya, enjoy a fireworks display over the park! The even is free and open to the public, and there’s truly no better way than to celebrate the historic holoday than with patriotic music, family and friends!
4th of July Parade at Linden Place Mansion
If you’re willing to take a bit of a drive, head over to Linden Place Mansion in the heart of Bristol for the 4th of July Parade Picnic! Linden Place will over reserved bleacher-style seating in addition to breakfast and picnic lunches for the 227th Parade. Get your patriotism on at the landmark and truly celebrate in style! The parade-watching event sells out every year, so get your tickets early: $65 for adults, $50 for children!
McCoy Stadium Fireworks
Again, you’ll have to take a little road trip, but the fireworks display at Pawtucket Stadium will be worth it! Really get into the spirit of the holiday and participate in an All-American pastime: baseball! After the Red Sox game is over, stick around for the McCoy Stadium Fireworks on the 2nd, 3rd, or 7th! That way, you can extend the holiday all week long while commemorating our nation’s independence!
