The weekend has arrived! Check out what's happening around town this weekend. 

Movies in the park: Despicable Me

Enjoy free, family-friendly fun. Beach blankets and camp chairs are welcome at Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk's riverfront lawn on the Southbank.  Concessions are available. Well-behaved pets are welcome, alcoholic beverages are not. The movie starts at 8pm and will end around 10pm this Friday. Don’t miss out!

River City Hunt

Date: Saturday

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

River City Hunt is a scavenger hunt in Downtown Jacksonville. Teams of two adults or four family members solve clues, hunt for locations, and complete wacky challenges.

Prizes for the top three adult and family teams, prize for best team costume, and prize for most teams from a business or organization. Fun family event by Junior League of Jacksonville.

Registration fee includes t-shirt and goody bag for each participant, event entry, and after party with food, DJ and beverages.

The event starts at Junior League Riverside House and runs through Riverside and Avondale in Downtown Jacksonville. For more information about the event, please click here! 

Walk MS

When: Saturday, 8 a.m.

Thinking about registering for Walk MS: First Coast? Your support helps the National MS Society fund cutting-edge research and support programs and services for people living with multiple sclerosis right here in the North Florida area. Movement is something many of us take for granted, but for people living with MS movement isn’t a guarantee.

Register today and help move toward a world free of MS.

Registration/ Check in for this 5k walk, held on A. Philip Randolph Blvd (near Jacksonville Historical Society), will start at 8 a.m., and the walk will begin at 10 a.m.. This walk site includes an alternate route of approximately .5 miles. If you have any questions, contact the chapter at 904-332-6810 or floridaevents@nmss.org.
