Jacksonville Jazz Festival
Friday night marks the beginning of FREE jazz performances on multiple stages in the heart of downtown. The 2012 Jacksonville Jazz Festival features FREE renowned jazz performances throughout the Memorial Day weekend on Main Street, Hemming Plaza, Snyder Memorial, The Jacksonville Landing and various downtown businesses and buildings. This FREE festival transforms into a vibrant setting with multiple entertainment stages and other components including Art in the Heart Downtown Art Show & Sale, Wine Down/Brew Town Tasting Experience (ticketed), Generation Next Youth Talent Competition, exhibits, clinics and much more. Other festival highlights include the Jacksonville Jazz Piano Competition, 'Round Midnight Jazz Jams (2 nights!), and a Sunday Jazz Brunch. It will go on rain or shine. The Jacksonville Landing Market takes place every Friday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., rain or shine! Don’t miss dozens of vendors as they set up throughout The Landing selling locally-grown produce, baked goods, plants, pottery, arts and crafts and much more.
X102.9 Rock on the River III
This Monday, from 1-8pm, X102.9 – Jacksonville’s NEW Rock Alternative – and The Jacksonville Landing have teamed up to bring another free concert to downtown Jacksonville!
