I’m going out to the ballgame!
To be the envy of the crowd!
I made my own tushy cushion…
Wait! That’s not how the song goes, but I have made a tushy cushion to save my tush from those hard bleachers or stadium seats and you can, too! It’s super simple!
Just think of the hours you spend watching your kids play sports, plus I live in the West and those seats can get pretty hot from the sun.
All you need for each tushy cushion is two large-size clear bubble envelopes and a couple complementary styles of decorative packing tape.
Project Instructions:
1. Fold both pieces of bubble wrap in half.
2. Tape them together with some pretty tape. (Not too tight!)
3. Thank me later.
There are lots of floral and lace patterened packing tapes in craft stores, supermarkets and on the net. I even found (eek!) tape that looked like a real python skin.
Say you want to make a tushy cushion for a child. Scotch makes one with insects and TapeSwell has butterflies for contrast to make your budding entomologist happy. If your child gets tired of sitting on it, I’ll bet the insects will keep his/her attention for a little while.

Watching a ballgame from home with friends? Make each guest their own bag of Caramel Corn with Peanuts.
How to make each bag special:
Scrapbook embellishments are available for the major league teams. I used rub-ons and stickers to add more fun with names and numbers. Another cute addition would be to put your guests names on the bags with game positions—Joe Short Stop, Fay’s on First, Bat Boy Tim, Alexandra the Ump, etc…
These bags are easily adaptable when you are the mom assigned to bring a treat for your child’s team on game night.
Here’s wishing you fun at the ball game!
If your team doesn’t win it’s a shame!
