Think it’s time to “Mix Up Your Dating Life’?
Recently, I attended an event in NY hosted by Single Edition Media and Match.com.
I got to mingle with all kinds of experts from dating/love websites as the folks from Match explained their latest service.
It takes the search for love (or at least better dates) from online to off.

We’re talking about "Stir" events.
You may have seen the ads on television.
Basically, they are social events that allow singles to meet in person to see if they click.
Doesn't that just make sense?
There are all kinds of meetups-- from large scale happy hours at local bars and venues to smaller, interest-based events such as:
- cooking classes
- wine and tequila tastings
- dance lessons
- bowling nights
- rock climbing
You won't be mingling with just anyone. The world's largest dating site uses algorithms to match groups of people by age, gender and similar interests, so you'll go into the soiree knowing that you have a better chance of meeting someone you just have to see again.
The Happy Hour events are free to both registered and subscribed Match.com members, but the interest-based events may come with a small fee.
There are already 200 events in 62 markets--- EACH MONTH—and there are more to come. GalTime ambassadors are looking forward to connecting with upcoming Stir events in their areas. We'll let you know how they go!
