Chas McFeely wants to get hitched.
And since dating sites have a lot of, well, other guys . . . he decided to start his own. And here’s the best part: If you set him up with the woman he marries, you get $10,000.
McFeely (who lives in San Francisco) started the site hookchasup.com in early March. He says, “If this helps me find a soulmate, it’ll be worth bazillions. But I don’t have bazillions. 10K seemed to say, ‘I’m serious but not insane.’”
So is he insane? So far he’s gotten a HUGE response. He’s been featured on DailyCandy and in newspapers and has received hundreds of emails about potential wife candidates.
He recently wrote, “Here I am looking at an inbox filled with the most amazing, heartfelt notes I’ve ever read. From sisters, mothers, BFFs, coworkers, cousins, and neighbors. Word has it even my friend’s 92 year old friend is on the case.”
