You might not be ready to hear it, but chances are, it’s time to move on. The best relationships are those in which the feelings are mutual and balanced. When you get back what you give- everyone feels good.
If your partner is reluctant to express their love for you verbally, sometimes it’s because they came from a family who rarely expressed verbal affection, so instead they shower you with loving actions.
But, if that’s not the case, and there is little love being expressed verbally or physically, then most likely this is a person who is 1) emotionally unavailable or 2) as the famous books says, “just not that into you.”
Trust me, either way, it’s best to move on. Don’t do what I did for 5 years, trying to get an emotionally distant man to profess his love for you! While you might get them to say the words on occasion, you’ll never get what you really want- their heartfelt affection.
You deserve a partner who will shout out his love from the rooftop- because he simply can’t contain how he feels. We all deserve that. Now I’m married to a man who tells me he loves me every time we talk- that’s the kind of love you ought to have- so never settle for less!
