DAY STARTER
Conscience and truth go hand-in-hand. Standing up for truth is a matter of conscience; following your conscience requires living in truth.
The truth that guides the conscience is your internal truth, not the opinions or expectations of others. It is important to function from the inside out, not the outside in.
If a decision is right for you, rooted in conscience, based in truth, then it is right for those affected by the decision's ramifications, too.
You cannot take ownership or responsibility for others' actions (or inactions as the case may be), but you must take ownership and responsibility for your own.
Today, think about those issues in your life that you need to address, and ask yourself what is driving your decision-making: Conscience and truth? Or others' opinions and views?
