An Extraordinary EVENT hosted by 2 Extraordinary Women!
As founder of the League of Xtraordinary Women Chris Alexander is one Gal that believes in the power of women. “I think “GalTime” is important to all of us who are working hard to create the future we see for ourselves along with our children. We are a non-profit organization that believes in motivating and encouraging women to be the very best they can be. We work hard and it’s just as important that we play hard! After all, there’s no point in being ordinary when you can be Xtraordinary” says Chris.
The League of Xtraordinary Women hosts vendor events as well as community based events. They are currently busy planning the second Xtraordinary roundtable discussion which will be held this Thursday, June 7th at the Julia C. Hester House in the 5th Ward community at 6:30 pm. At the roundtable we will discuss holding ourselves accountable and the discussion will be specifically about faith, family, and finance.
This event is co-hosted by Rainey Decatur Owner of Rainey’s Creole Lunchroom and Catering. They have THE BEST Cajun food EVER! I am telling you because I know!

Lorra Brown (Dallas, TX) Lorra Brown is the owner of J. Stevens & Associates, who serves clients nationwide. Lorra Brown a 13+ year finance veteran, Ms. Brown brings a wealth of CFO level experience to clients. Experience gained from leading The Urban Alternative National Ministry of Dr. Tony Evans one of Dallas/ Fort Worth largest ministry nonprofit and several other companies, such as YWCA and United Way.
D Ique Brown (Houston, TX) D. Ique (I-key) Brown is the founder and Principal Liaison of a private practice specializing in creating and fostering committed relationships. Giovanni Neal (Houston, TX) Giovanni Neal is a professional blogger, political pundit, educator and paralegal. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and holds a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies. Ms. Neal has been a professional blogger for two years and has her own blog and brand BlameGirl.com. Additionally, Ms. Neal writes for Rhetoric, Race & Religion and The League of Xtraordinary Women. Prior to her career as a professional blogger, Ms. Neal served as a social studies teacher.
Misha Granado (Houston, TX) Misha N. Granado, MPH, MS is a behavioral health scientist (MPH) with academic and professional training in the field of community psychology (MS). She is the Founder and Executive Director of Love Grows: The Relationship Consultants and serves as a consultant for the group. Misha has been actively engaged in empowering girls and women for over ten years.
