Hot List: Sundresses and Easter Bunnies | Fun Stuff

We've been teased with some nice weather and Easter is just around the corner. If Easter eggs and bunnies aren't your thing, don't worry, this hotlist is chock full of springtime activities that will have you out and about in your cutest sundress (as long as Mother Nature cooperates).

Eat It up:

MediumRare just opened in Cleveland Park and we love the concept. One prix fixe meal is all they offer - and the service is a little slow but it was a delicious steak and you can't beat the price ($19.50). Make sure to try Grandma's apple pie as well. Fiola is another new restuarant in DC, started by master chef Fabio Trabocchi which will be opening in the coming weeks. The restaurant features some of Chef Trabocchi's signature Italian dishes at the Penn Quarter restaurant. 678 Indiana Avenue, NW. 202-628-2888.

Party Hearty:

Ladies DC and Don Patron are hosting a fundraiser for the Japanese Red Cross on Thursday April 14 at 7 pm at L2 Lounge. Featuring  Hanami: The Flower Viewing, the event will showcase the paintings of a variety of talented artists, tickets are not required for attendance, but a minimun $20 donation will be collected at the door. Don't feel like trekking to the burbs for Gold Cup this year? Stay in DC and attend The Young Leadership Council's Kentucky Derby party on May 7 from 4 to 7 pm at the Iron Horse Tap Room. The 8th annual open-air French Market returns to Georgetown on April 29 and 30th, bringing a bit of Paris to DC without the cost of  a plane ticket. The Georgetown Busuiness Improvement District orchestrates teh annual market and offers residents a unique opportunity to shop and enjoy French cuisine on upper Wisconsin between P Street and Reservoir Road.
