10 Reasons Why We Should Appreciate Libraries | Positive Thinking

Regardless of anyone’s opinion, I will always check out books from the Library. I’ll probably never own a Kindle or Nook or anything of that nature.  

1. Free Books…. although you’ll eventually have to return them

2. It’s a great place for researching and to read

3. It’s nice and quiet .. well some of them. lol!

4. It brings the entire community together

5. You meet interesting people

6. It’s a place to find rare and out-dated material

7. The smell.. it’s something about the smell of libraries and old books that keeps me coming back 

8. It’s a great place for writers

9. Great way to meet new friends and start a book club

10. Libraries often sell books at a discount!
