Inside the VIP Lounge At The Essence Music Festival | Entertainment

The 2011 Essence Music Festival took place this weekend in New Orleans. The Belvedere VIP lounge was a popular hangout with the many celebs attending the event. 

Some of the celebrities who stopped by on Day 1 included Singer/Actress Naturi Naughton (NBC The Playboy Club), Actress Garcelle Beauvais (TNT Franklin & Bash),  Actor Terry Crews (TBS "Are We There Yet?") Actor Boris Kudjoe, Actor Carl Anthony Payne, Singer Dwele, Singer Noel Gourdin and Rapper Slim Thug.

Additionally singer/actress Letoya Luckett (HBO "Treme") participated in the Charity Celeb Bartending Challenge with socialite and Belvedere Ambassador Bevy Smith, creating the official drink of the festival "The Belve Peach Essence" contributing donations from the challenge to The Red Cross of New Orleans. 

Day 2 brought famous faces like singer Ledisi, 106& Park Rocs, Nene Leakes(Real Housewives of ATL), actor Hosea Chancez (BET The Game), and actor Lance Gross and Gossip Girl's Tika Sumpter.

The "Belve Peach Essence", is the official cocktail of the Essence Festival, which includes ingredients such as fresh brewed sweetened ice tea, peach schnapps, lemon juice and mint. Yum.
