What is the Sketchbook Project?
Thousands of sketchbooks are being exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country. Anyone - from anywhere in the world - can be a part of the project. Awesome right!? All you have to do is sign up on The Sketchbook Project's website.
I got the pleasure to check out four sketchbooks with the themes of “Science Project Gone Wrong” and “Mystery Maps”. All of the sketchbooks were fun and very creative.
The Sketchbook project is touring all around the country!
For you Orlando Gals who are interested, it's taking place at Full Sail Live this Saturday and Sunday from 12-5pm. Full Sail Live is on the campus of Full Sail University at 3300 University Boulevard in Winter Park.
After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be bar coded and available for the public to view.
