Meet Our Team
It takes a village to keep you up to date and bring your daily dose of ‘GalTime.’ We have the best editors, writers, contributors and ambassadors, nearly a hundred talented writers and videographer/editors all working to keep you informed. We’re adding to our team everyday.
Our management team:
Susan Krivelow, Co-founder
Susan Krivelow is co-founder at GalTime and basically does it all—chef, waiter, and chief bottle washer, no doubt! She oversees national content/contributors along with her partner and a fabulous (and growing) management team. She also spends much of her time on sponsorships and advertising and works with our ambassador team on local content. She also makes sure the bills get paid, which we’re guessing is pretty important. Then, in her spare time, she drives initiatives to bring GalTime to the next level.
Susan is an award-winning veteran broadcast journalist with experience in local, national and digital news formats. Among her many accomplishments: News Director at the NBC affiliate in Boston and Executive VP at NewsPronet, a leader in national television news syndication. She has four amazing daughters and lives with her husband near Boston.
Charlene Santos, Co-founder
Charlene also oversees national content along with Susan and the ever-growing GalTime management team. She helps to steer the national and local initiatives, works with local ambassadors on local content, increases sponsorship potential, and works with the many great contributors who make GalTime what it is. Much of her time is spent expanding distribution and growing new channels for GalTime content and working to implement systems to keep our exploding number of GalTimers happy!
Charlene is an award-winning veteran broadcast journalist with experience in local, national and digital news formats. Among her many accomplishments: She was Sr Executive Producer at the NBC affiliate in Boston and VP of News for NewsProNet, a leader in television news syndication. In case it didn’t hit you, Charlene and Susan have worked for more years than they’ll admit. They also need an assistant, can you tell?!
Michael R Moore, Chief Financial Advisor
A corporate transactional attorney and finance MBA with over 15 years of experience, Mike helped develop and sell one of the first publicly-traded wireless information technology companies. Mike has been a key officer of privately-held and publicly-traded technology companies.
Jessica Ashley, Sr Editor, Love/Parenting/Health
Jessica Ashley is GalTime’s Sr. Editor in the areas of Love, Parenting and Health, and author of the single-mom-in-the-city blog, Sassafrass. Jessica is a well published writer and appears as an on-air guest expert discussing all things parenting. Formerly a senior editor at Yahoo! Shine, she has also written for AOL, Huffington Post and many other leading online publications. Jessica wears inappropriately high heels to the playground. She’s the mother of one boy, and the proof is in the pile of Star Wars Lego guys at the bottom of her purse.
Lori Garcia, Editor, Money/Career/Home
Lori is the founder of MommyFriend.com, she was a blogger for Babble, a Parenting Guru for Yahoo! Shine and is a founder of Project Marriage. Now, she's venturing into the Money and Home/DIY areas for all of us at GalTime and we couldn't be happier.
Andrea Krivelow, Editor, Entertainment
Andrea is the other half of Celebutante Sisters, so we more than have our bases covered on the Hollywood front. If news breaks in the entertainment world, Andi knows about it…and brings it to you within minutes. That comes in handy with enough celebrity breakups to warrant a breaking news channel of its own. Although she’s actually a nutritionist by training (hhhmmm…maybe we should add her to the Health channel as well!), Andi loves gossip and brings a sense of energy and excitement to our Entertainment channel. She’s based in Massachusetts and loves
spending time with her boyfriend Aaron. If you hear of something breaking, or have ideas on entertainment segments you’d like covered, you can reach her at:
Kerri Winick, Sr Editor, Beauty & Style
As a television news producer on both the local level (in Boston and Washington, DC) and on the national level, Kerri has worked with countless fashion and beauty magazines, stylists, makeup artists, shopping websites, eco-experts and consumer experts. She lives for all thing beauty and fashion related and brings to GalTime a winning combination: a unique sense of style, combined with killer journalistic instincts and is noted as one of the best copywriters/editors anywhere. She’s also half of the oh-so-glam beauty and fashion blog, Celebutante Sisters, where you’ll find everything you need to know about beauty, fashion and, of course, Hollywood gossip. Yep, we’re lucky to have her! Kerri lives in New York City with her husband and gorgeous baby son.
GalTime is proud to partner with The Daily Buzz syndicated morning television program. Now, our newest partnership involves the nationally syndicated daily show for women, Life Love Shopping. Together, we are able to offer readers, viewers, advertisers and sponsors unique opportunities across our various platforms. Plus, we have a lot of fun. Our managing partners:
Troy McGuire, VP/ Manager of the Daily Buzz
As VP of Digital for Fisher Communications, Troy oversees the company’s online division, including its strategy to diversify its content delivery channels to take advantage of the proliferation of technology. He is considered a pioneer in hyperlocal content, first launching microsites for KOMO in Seattle and now through the Buzz Brands vertical options. The local sites are tailored to the personality of a specific area/market. These sites contain community information, encourage dialogue and involvement, and provide new advertising opportunities for local businesses. Troy also manages the popular The Daily Buzz syndicated morning program based in Orlando, FL. The show currently reaches 70% of US households.
KyAnn Lewis, Executive Producer of Life Love Shopping and GalTime Sr. Editor
KyAnn Lewis is an Orlando-based editor for GalTime - who manages the GalTime Florida sites. KyAnn's the Executive Producer of Life Love Shopping a half-hour show airing nationally on weekdays - regularly featuring stories and experts from GalTime.com.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, KyAnn's zig-zagged her way across the country during her career as an Emmy Award winning broadcast journalist. She's had all kinds of TV news jobs. She was a News Director for several years, most recently in Houston. Although her office is now located inside the studios of the wild and wacky nationally-syndicated morning show The Daily Buzz, she's undoubtedly not a morning person. Fortunately, there's a Starbucks drive-through on the way to the studios.
KyAnn likes to write about all sorts of topics, including the joys (and challenges!) of being a mom to four-year-old Eliza. Look for her musings on motherhood, life in Orlando and all kinds of other stuff on GalTime.
Those living in Central Florida, can also read KyAnn's regular column appearing in Lake Mary Life Magazine.
When she's not "on the clock", KyAnn likes to spend time in her kitchen cooking with her daughter. You can follow her on twitter @kyannlewis and @galtimeorlando.
JL Watkins, VP of Marketing for The Daily Buzz and Life Love Shopping. Also, GalTime Sr. Editor
JL is a marketing and promotional genius. Fortunately for us, he’s also a regular contributor for GalTime, and the nationally syndicated morning show, The Daily Buzz as well as the new daily show for women Life Love Shopping.
Michelle Yarn, host, Life Love Shopping and national contributor for GalTime
Michelle is an accomplished writer who now co-hosts the nationally syndicated television show for women Life Love Shopping. She also hosts segments on The Daily Buzz nationally syndicated morning program. After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2005, she quickly rose up the TV ranks, earning her merit by producing female friendly discussions and even serving as occasional field reporter. Since then, she's contributed stories online and in print publications covering everything from news, entertainment, weddings, fashion and food. After a brief, but valuable, stint in the wedding industry, Michelle has now expanded her repertoire and offers daily advice by leading daily discussions on everything "Gal." She’s also a national correspondent, quickly establishing herself as the face of GalTime.
