Jane Greer, Ph.D., is a nationally known marriage and family therapist with a thriving private practice for over twenty years. Her latest book: What About Me? Stop Selfishness From Ruining Your Relationship, published by Sourcebooks. She is the author of How Could You Do This to Me? Learning to Trust after Betrayal, published by Doubleday, The Afterlife Connection: A Therapist Reveals How To Communicate With Departed Loved Ones by Saint Martin’s Press, Gridlock: Finding The Courage To Move On In Love, Work And Life and Adult Sibling Rivalry, published in hardcover by Crown and paperback by Fawcett. Dr. Greer is a Contributing Editor for Redbook Magazine. She is the host of her own weekly radio internet show, Doctor On Call, a live hour long show at www.healthylife.net, every Tuesday at 2 pm ET/11amPT. Dr. Greer’s newest endeavor is with INFINITEQUEST.COM, Psychic Medium John Edward’s new website. Dr. Greer is a contributor offering psychological advice. She has been interviewed repeatedly for articles in many well-respected publications including the New York Times, USA Today, People Magazine, US, In Touch, Redbook, Ladies Home Journal, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Parents Magazine, Elle, Marie Claire, Men’s Health and many more and frequently appears in syndicated newspapers across the country in columns such as “Can This Marriage Be Saved” and Parade Magazine.
A former adjunct assistant professor at Adelphi University School of Social Work; Dr. Greer is a long standing member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as the American Association of Sex , Educators, Counselors and Therapists. She has lectured across the country on marital/family problems, women’s issues, and sibling (twin) issues; and is frequently called on by the national news media to speak as an authority on these topics. Dr. Greer and her husband Marc Snowman, also a psychotherapist, have their practices in New York City.
