About the Author
Marianne Mancusi Beach is a multiple Emmy award winning television producer, freelance writer and author of 14 books for adults and teens. A graduate of Boston University's College of Communication, she worked for local television news stations in Boston, Orlando, and San Diego before signing on to help launch the nationally syndicated television lifestyle show Better TV, part of the Meredith Corporation. In 2010, she left Better TV to write full time. She enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping, drinking good wine, and playing videogames. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Jacob and their dog Mesquite.
