Jenny Tiegs
About the Author
Reporting from the desert in Washington State (It doesn’t rain in the whole state!), Jenny Tiegs is sharing what is new, exciting and happening in the Tri Cities and Yakima. Jenny earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Master’s in Literacy from Washington State University and is one proud Coug. After teaching middle school for six years, she took time off to raise her son. Jenny is a transplant from the west side of the state, and now lives on 2 acres, nicknamed the “ranchette,” raising 8 chickens, one dog, one kid, a husband, a garden and some resident rock chucks. When she’s not managing the homestead, she enjoys watching Cougar football, reading, spending time with family and friends and writing for GalTime.
Read more about Jenny’s adventures on her blog, Chicks and Giggles.
