GuruSimrat Khalsa

GuruSimrat Khalsa moved to Portland two years ago and absolutely loves it! Having grown up in Norway, she has a natural appreciation for the outdoors and loves the plethora of adventure Oregon has to offer – both during the winter and summer.

When not playing in the outdoors, GuruSimrat works in Sustainability for Portland based, Columbia Sportswear where she helps integrate sustainability best practices into business operations. She came to Columbia Sportswear after completing her MBA in Sustainable Business Practices from the University of Oregon. GuruSimrat also serves on the board of the Portland Professional Net Impact Chapter where she helps organize events that bring together professionals interested in leveraging business for a positive impact.

GuruSimrat is thrilled to be a GalTime ambassador and is excited about joining a dynamic community of women who share insights and contribute to conversations in their community. She is particularly passionate about raising the profile of women in Portland and writes a monthly column spotlighting cool things women are doing in the community.
