Teresa Bitler is a Phoenix-based freelance writer specializing in travel, food, cocktails and spas. She has rediscovered the Rat Pack-era in Palm Springs for Arizona Highroads, chowed down on chuck wagon fare at Rawhide for Disney’s Family Fun, peered into a mine deeper than the Empire State Building is tall for Sunset, and sampled Prohibition-style cocktails for Valley Guide.
A Phoenix native, Teresa has authored two travel guides: Great Escapes Arizona and Backroads and Byways of Indian Country (set to be released in Spring 2012). She is also the author of four iPhone apps: Phoenix for Families, Phoenix for Fun, Free & Budget Phoenix and Four Corners Indian Country.
