About the Author

I'm a writer/editor by profession, but when I'm out having fun, eating always makes my "to do" list! I love all things related to food (trying new restaurants is a favorite)! Phoenix is a great city where you can enjoy so many great restaurants, but I also love to travel - near and far - to discover what's going on everywhere else.

Check out my blog, Grab a Plate, where you'll find lots of recipes and some other features from my "out and about" perspective!

I grew up in NE Ohio surrounded by my Italian-American family and I share their passion for cooking and for food. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that among the subject matter I write about, food is a regular topic. I've lived in Phoenix for a long time now, and I really love it here!

I'm enthusiastic about traveling, dining out, cooking, yoga and hiking, and I'm a life-long Cleveland Cavaliers fan!
