Would You Erase Any of Your Memories? | Love & Sex

I was talking with some friends the other day, and one of my longtime pals who is going through a rough patch said she wished she could just wipe out the last 6 months of her life. It got a few of us chatting about whether we'd really erase memories or events... and I thought about it a lot after I left  my gal pals that night.

I've had my share of disappointments and traumatic events, but I can't help but think that I wouldn't wipe out the memories. They make me who I am and, as silly as it sounds, I really mean it. In this photoshopping world where we can literally alter the 'appearance' of our lives, should we really mess with our memories?
